The ARTS channel here in the bay area of Oakland is perhaps the best television only in the sence that it does not have commercials..streaming video of often classical (read: white) music..but I did see M. Anderson. I wonder what she would think of youngbloods today esp., with regards to music and singing colored folks.
Speaking of T.V., I watched a chocolatier talk his stuff about his chocolate making and taste. I so dearly love good chocolate; the one ting i miss the most about Amsterdam;
Speaking of taste, I recently tried La Chouffe Artisanal Belgian Golden Ale brewed with spices. I have to admit i like their Chouffe happy song too..
Being the holiday, and working for UC i have a nice time off, the given and a few extra vacation days; I of course am a T.V. junkee, if i had my way I would pay for satilite and cable and have a wall of sets to watch everything all the time. Some'ting like David Bowie in the 'The Man Who Fell to Earth' which is a strange film and not just for the casting of David. I proably be depressed greater when think about the information overload that would lead. Is it possible for humans to be aware of too much, esp., events of which they are powerless to affect any meaningful change.
